Add the sample including the pipette tip or straw into the bag, connect the dosing arm for automatic dilution – it's that easy!The diluent flows through the tip with the sample into the bag, followed by an air blast. The generated liquid vortex and the air turbulences cause a homogeneous sample dilution . This proven method works optimally with all homogenized and 1:10 diluted food samples, drinks, water etc.
For Serial Diluter TA the maximum speed is achieved with pipette tips that have a wide opening. This allows the diluent to flow more quickly through the tip with the sample.
Commissioning is done just by inserting hoses in the pinch valves and a serological pipette into the holder. For liquid volume setting simply place the infrared sensor alongside the scale of the pipette. The Serial Diluter is a real Swiss product for the daily routine. By the exclusive use of quality components, regular preventative maintenance is limited to the yearly change of the sterile filter by the user.
The sterile operation is secured by two syringe filters for sterile system ventilation. With the Serial Diluter TA and SA, the upper part of the pipette tip shields the dispensing nozzle from direct sample contact (see picture above). In the UA, the dispensing nozzle dips into the sterile addition zone of the bags and is never in it when sample mixing is started. In addition, the Serial Diluters cannot aspirate liquid via the dispensing nozzle.
